FAQ

What Are Derma Fillers?

Over time our youthful skin begins to fade. Our skin begins to lose its fullness and wrinkles begin to form. Dermal fillers are ideal for correcting these small imperfections. Most dermal fillers consist of a substances found naturally in our body. This allows for a more organic way of providing a healthy new look.

How Do Derma Fillers Work?

Dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid and similar substances to plump or “fill in” areas that have lost volume and smoothness. This includes thin lips, wrinkles around the mouth, and cheeks that have lost fullness. They may also be used on scars, forehead wrinkles, and other areas that need extra volume for a smoother look.

What is Botox?

Made from a purified protein, Botox has the ability to relax the muscles reducing contractions that cause wrinkles, giving the face a rejuvenated younger look. It takes just a few minutes and can last up to 3-6 months.

What to Expect Botox Treatments.

At Mobile IV Solutions, Botox is injected by our Physician. We take absolute care in making sure you are comfortable during the entire process. Each Botox application will be customized especially for you! After the treatment is completed, you can safely return to your normal daily activities.

How Does Botox Work?

Botox freezes muscles to stop creases and wrinkles caused by facial expressions. These are typically found in the upper face, such as the forehead and around the eyes.

What is Dysport

Dysport reduces the appearance of lines that primarily affect the glabella, the area in between your eyebrows. These lines extend upward, or vertically, toward the forehead. They are especially noticeable when a person frowns.

While naturally occurring, with age glabella lines can become more prominent during times of relaxation too. This is because our skin loses collagen, the protein fibers responsible for elasticity.

Dysport vs. Botox

Dysport and Botox share many similarities, but one might be a better fit for you over the other. Both Dysport and Botox are considered nonsurgical forms of wrinkle treatment that have quick recovery rates. Dysport is typically more diluted and could be a better treatment over Botox. Dysport also spreads faster, especially over a larger surface area, with just a few injections. So the differences really come down to the way each injectable is applied by your doctor.

An experienced doctor will use both for certain areas:

  • Botox will work well for lip lines, Crow’s feet, and other fine wrinkles. It has a high concentration and is slow-moving, making it perfect for these small areas.

  • Dysport works well for larger surface areas like the forehead. It is fast-acting and spreads quickly and evenly.
